Shelley Seibolt, President, has been placing office support candidates within premier companies in the Kansas City area for over 20 years. She attended Fort Hays State University and Northwestern Oklahoma State University on a rodeo scholarship and eventually receiving her Masters’ Degree in Human Resources from Kansas State University. She is a member of the Missouri and Kansas Search and Staffing Association, the local chapter of the American Staffing Association, which supports training and ethical practices for companies in the staffing industry. She enjoys traveling with her two grown boys, Sammy & Dustin. They plan an annual adventure to try out new golf courses and play the ponies at different horse tracks. She supports her local sporting teams with Sporting KC and the Royals, but there is a special place in heart for the Dallas Cowboys. In her spare time, Shelley is still chasing cans at barrel races in KS, MO and OK on her big bay gelding, Tank. Otherwise, she is hanging out at home with her dogs Kyote & Perez.
Marie Phelan is a Kansas City native and KU graduate with a degree in Theatre. Rock Chalk!
She began her career in Chicago in media sales before returning home and transitioning into recruiting in 2009. Since then, she has become a top recruiter at Staffing Kansas City, playing a key role in the company’s growth. Marie is known for connecting companies with the right talent and is especially passionate about helping small businesses grow.
Michelle Lee, Recruiter and Payroll & Compliance Expert, earned her Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas, ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK, Go KU!! In 1998, when Shelley and Roses decided to hang-up their own tile and start Staffing Kansas City, they enlisted the talented and experienced Michelle Lee. Michelle was living in Waverly, KS and her family was growing. She was able to work remotely and pitch in when needed in any facet. Michelle ultimately took a 10 year hiatus to raise her four amazing children. She came back to work full time for Staffing Kansas City in 2012. She and her family enjoy entertaining, cooking and planning fun travel or stay-at-home activities. As a recruiter, Michelle purely enjoys “helping people”. She is kind, competent and altruistic in building trust with her candidates and clients. She is an avid listening and learner. She listens to each candidate and client to find the right person for the right position. She still gets a genuine thrill EACH TIME a successful placement it made. She also tunes in to HR webinars and researches labor laws and compliance issues. If you have a question, ask Michelle. If she doesn’t know, she will find out for you. Bottom line, she loves working with unique companies and candidates in the Kansas City metro area which makes every day at Staffing Kansas City a different and challenging day.
