We want to congratulate Matt Roth as our first place 2018 Staffing Kansas City Remembrance Scholarship winner: “The job opportunities I was given by the staffing industry have helped me expand my horizons into the numerous employment positions that exist throughout Kansas City. Science and math courses alone are only half the picture in preparation for a lifelong career, and the jobs I worked through Staffing KC helped fill in the other half. Each one contained hands-on skills related to different aspects of business that you simply cannot get in the classroom. They were fun, engaging, and enlightening and helped me develop important social skills that I can carry with me into any future field of employment. On top of that, the ladies offered me jobs on weekends and breaks, allowing me plenty of time to dedicate towards my studies. The flexible schedules along with opportunities for hands on experience and self development represent the perfect means for young adults in higher education to build successful careers. Thank you Staffing KC for every life changing opportunity!”

We also want to congratulate James Atkisson as a second place 2018 Staffing Kansas City Remembrance Scholarship winner:“Staffing services have come through to help me get my foot in the door at some great companies and prove my worth over time. About a year ago, I was well employed but it was a job that took me away from home for weeks or months at a time and I was miserable! I finally reached the point where I had to make the decision to move on and I was terrified that I wasn't going to be able to make ends meet and provide for those who depended on me. Staffing KC received my resume and brought me in right away! I had several different interviews with some of their clients and they were very supportive both before and after each interview. I did start to feel a bit discouraged, but they got me in a position after only a few weeks and I have been able to rebuild my life after such a huge leap of faith. The degree I am seeking now is to improve my worth and get me in a better position where I think I will be very successful and improve my life even more!”
