The Friday, August 19, event will again take place at Dub’s Dread Golf Course in Kansas City, Kansas.
The fourth annual fundraiser benefits the Due West Therapeutic Riding Center located in Kansas City, Kansas. Due West Therapeutic Riding Center provides horseback riding lessons, mini camps, therapeutic riding and equine education programs for horse enthusiasts of all ages. Events such as the August golf tournament help Due West, “keep the lights on, the barn doors open and our riders in the saddle,” according to the website. The event will also include raffles for prizes and dinner at Dub’s Dread following the tournament.

One of Due West’s most popular equine programs brings therapeutic riding opportunities for individuals experiencing physical, cognitive, and social-emotional disabilities. These offerings can include interacting with Due West’s horses to improve motor and cognitive planning, sensory integration and building social skills.
