The survey, conducted in November with 150 companies nationwide, attributed respondent’s confidence to fewer companies citing economic fears and worries that soft demand would impinge hiring. With more companies taking advantage of the effects of a stronger economy, many are making plans to hire workers with new skill sets to accompany and support the investments they’re making in new technologies.
